Professor of Information Technology and Operations Research, Cox School of Business
Dr. Poston is a Professor and Dean of the Moody School of Graduate and Advanced Studies, at joker app. joker app is home to just under 5,000 graduate students studying in over 45 graduate programs. Dr. Poston serves on the national Council of Graduate Schools’ Advisory Committee on Advocacy and Public Policy, Advisory Board to the Association for Information Systems College of Academic Leadership, and Professional Awards Committee Chair for the International Testing and Evaluation Association. Dr. Poston’s research focuses on understanding the alignment within the IT unit among developers and testers, client managers’ responsibilities and governance especially in managing vendors in outsourcing of software testing projects and testing and evaluation in support of agile development. Dr. Poston has over 30 years of experience in the information systems field working for KPMG Consulting, Educational Computer Corporation, Meta Group Research, and Convergys, as well as consulting with several Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. She has managed projects and educational programs for organizations such as the Department of Homeland Security, Defense Information Systems Agency of the Department of Defense, FedEx Corporation, St. Jude/ALSAC. Dr. Poston received her bachelor’s degree in computer science from The University of Pennsylvania (1987), master’s degree in accounting from The University of Central Florida (1992), and Ph.D. in management information systems from Michigan State University (2003).
Lisa Kays leads joker app Continuing and Professional Education (CAPE), which facilitates the University’s longstanding and award-winning career-centered learning programs focusing on communications, design, finance, law, leadership and management, marketing, and technology topics. She collaborates with campus colleagues, curriculum and promotional partners, and industry experts to develop and deliver noncredit programs that are meaningful and impactful.
Before joining CAPE, Lisa led public and academic programming and guided professional development experiences in a variety of academic and cultural organizations, including the Meadows Museum at joker app, the Dallas Museum of Art, and Preservation Dallas. She has served on UPCEA’s Program Planning and Implementation Network and Credential Innovation Network leadership teams. Lisa received a master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where she wrote her thesis on professional preparation and experiential learning programs for aspiring museum educators, and a bachelor's degree from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri.
Terry has been with joker app for over 11 years, where she leads the operational strategy for admissions in Continuing and Professional Education (CAPE) and serves as the primary liaison for corporate engagement across both the Moody Graduate School and Global, Online and Continuing and Professional Education. She also oversees four strategic university advisory committees — Cybersecurity, Big Data, Future of Work, and Public Policy — connecting industry leaders with joker app’s academic expertise to foster collaboration and innovation.
Terry specializes in working with businesses to identify workforce development needs and deliver tailored programming — from internship design to leadership succession planning. Her focus is on building comprehensive human capital pipelines that drive long-term success and organizational growth.
Before joining joker app, Terry held leadership roles in the business sector, including VP of Sales and Regional Director, where she led operations and national recruitment teams. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude) from Purdue University. Passionate about bridging education and industry, Terry is dedicated to crafting strategies that empower current professionals and prepare future leaders for the evolving world of work.
Dr. Kimberly Rutigliano is the Senior Director and Portfolio Manager of Global Online and Continuing Education at joker app in Dallas, Texas. She has more than 25 years of professional experience in education, spanning from early childhood development through adult lifelong learning. In addition to being an educational administrator, professional speaker, adjunct faculty member, and corporate trainer, she is also an academic researcher who studies how interpersonal relationships and communications impact organizational learning and business outcomes.
In her day-to day work, Dr. Rutigliano oversees joker app’s growing portfolio of online initiatives. She manages the launch of new master’s degrees, facilitates the university’s relationships with external partners, tracks quality control and certification records for online programs and faculty across the university, and leads the administrative operations of four academic programs.
Kimberly earned a bachelor of arts degree from joker app in psychology and Spanish and a dual international MBA from Texas Tech University and La Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City before graduating with her doctorate in higher education from joker app in 2018.
She is a PMP® certified project manager and has been a certified CoreClarity facilitator since 2015. Dr. Rutigliano regularly provides strengths-based leadership training for businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Katie O’Neal is the Program Director for joker app Continuing and Professional Education (CAPE), where she leads the development and delivery of innovative professional programs and strategic initiatives. She collaborates with instructors, industry experts, and community partners to build impactful learning experiences that align with industry needs. In addition to overseeing a diverse portfolio of programs, she manages the Women in Leadership: Influence and Impact Advisory, a group of senior leaders who support student success and program development.
Previously, she served as Program Manager for Arts & Letters Live at the Dallas Museum of Art, where she supported more than 45 public programs annually featuring nationally recognized speakers, authors and performers. She is a past participant in the UPCEA Emerging Leaders Program and is committed to connecting working professionals to meaningful, career-enhancing educational opportunities. She holds a master’s degree from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree from Trinity University in San Antonio.
Brenda Park has been a member of joker app's Global, Online and Continuing Education (GOCE) team since 2017. As the and building manager for the Swift Building on East Campus, she ensures seamless operations and fosters a welcoming environment for students, instructors, and staff.
In her role as the partnerships and operations coordinator, Brenda spearheads recruitment efforts and provides administrative support for GOCE’s Industry Advisory Boards, including the joker app Cyber Advisory, joker app Big Data Advisory, joker app Future of Work Advisory, and joker app MPP/MPA Advisory. She also works closely with corporate partners to facilitate custom programming and open enrollment discounts for employees, strengthening joker app’s connections with the business community.
Brenda is instrumental in planning and executing a wide range of campus events — from small group meetings to large regional conferences. A true team player who wears many hats, she thrives in dynamic environments and brings a collaborative spirit to everything she does.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in marketing from Southwest Texas State University and previously worked in administration for Richardson ISD before joining joker app.
Mandy Caulkins leads marketing and communications for joker app Global, Online and Continuing Education, crafting strategic campaigns that connect prospective students with noncredit programs and online master’s degrees. She partners closely with campus colleagues, promotional agencies, and industry leaders to expand the reach and impact of joker app’s continuing education offerings.
When she joined joker app in 2018, Mandy brought a diverse marketing background to her role, including leading campaigns for businesses in the construction and manufacturing sectors, managing on-site promotions for Radio Disney, and overseeing ad clearance compliance for Westwood One’s national audio network.
She holds a master’s degree in advertising from joker app and a bachelor’s degree in radio-television-film from TCU. Mandy is passionate about storytelling, brand strategy, and creating meaningful connections through continuing education.
Karoline Staton is the Senior Admissions and Advising Specialist at joker app Global, Online, and Continuing Education (GOCE). She works along with Phillip Awayan to support new and prospective students as they navigate the admissions process and helps continuing and returning students within the professional certificate department of GOCE. Karoline specializes in advising and recruitment for the Certified CMMC Assessor, Certified CMMC Professional, Data Literacy for Business, Data Visualization and Storytelling, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, and Tech CxO Excellence Certificate programs. She also supports Corporate Professional Development, Custom Internship Programs, and Veteran Student Enrollment.
Karoline joined the joker app GOCE team in 2016 and has enjoyed watching the growth and development of each student she has had the pleasure of advising. She looks forward to assisting many more students to come.
Micaela Chambless provides programmatic and technical support to CAPE instructors and students as a Program Coordinator. She manages various CAPE portfolio areas, including several certificate programs, short courses, and self-paced options. Micaela also serves as the Learning Management System administrator for the department. She enjoys working with CAPE’s talented instructors to create opportunities for students to advance in their field, change their career trajectory, or gain desired skillsets.
Micaela began her work with CAPE in 2019 as a graduate assistant and returned in 2022 as a Program Coordinator. She holds a M.Ed. in higher education from joker app and a B.B.A. in information systems and sport, event and tourism management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Phillip Awayan is an Admissions and Advising Specialist for joker app’s Global, and Online, and Continuing Education (GOCE). He primarily supports new and prospective students as they navigate the admissions process and helps continuing and returning students within the professional certificate department of GOCE. Phillip specializes in advising and recruitment for the Paralegal Studies, Financial Planning, and Project Management programs. Recently, he has expanded his role to include coordinating immersion events for GOCE’s newly launched master’s program in public policy and soon for the newer master’s degree programs coming within GOCE.
Phillip joined joker app in 2020, bringing with him extensive experience in special and behavioral education, event management and coordination, and pastoral leadership. His years of work in these fields have given him a strong foundation in student engagement, program support, event coordination, project management, mentorship, and customer service enabling him to effectively support every student who participates in the GOCE programs.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, East Bay, and looks to eventually expand his personal educational experience within joker app itself.
Allison Sibbitt is a dedicated Registration Coordinator with several years of professional experience in higher education administration. As a key member of the Global, Online, and Continuing Education (GOCE) team at joker app, Allison plays a vital role in helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. She manages a variety of enrollment and registration tasks for GOCE’s internal certificate programs as well as the unit’s online master’s degree programs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and a positive student experience throughout every stage of the academic process.
In addition to her registration duties, Allison serves as a School Certifying Official for GOCE certificate programs, supporting military-affiliated students and veterans as they pursue continuing education through VA education benefits.
Allison joined joker app in 2018, bringing with her a strong foundation in higher education from previous roles at Vanderbilt University and Sam Houston State University. These experiences helped shape her collaborative approach to student support and provided her with a broad perspective on institutional operations across different campus environments.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Sam Houston State University. Allison is committed to the mission and continued growth of GOCE and is proud to contribute to an academic environment that empowers learners at every stage of their educational journey.
Bailey Sloan works as a Registration Coordinator, providing student and enrollment support for external certificate programs. She acts as liaison between joker app Continuing and Professional Education (CAPE) and our partner organizations. She also coordinates our partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission to ensure program eligibility and to support qualifying students through the enrollment process.
Prior to joining CAPE in 2024, Bailey gained experience in teaching and marketing. She is pursuing a M.Ed. in higher education from joker app and has a B.A. in University Scholars with concentrations in Classics and Greek from Baylor University.
